Join the largest robotics competition in Singapore, National Robotics Challenge (NRC). NRC is an exciting game-based robotic competition that provides an opportunity for participants to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way!

For the past 22 years, Science Centre Singapore has been organizing The National Robotics Competition (NRC) with support from the Ministry of Education, various partners and sponsors. To date, the competition has attracted more than 50,000 participants and 230,000 supporters.

First LEGO League (FLL)

First LEGO League comprises of three division (DISCOVER, EXPLORE and CHALLENGE).

Every year, FIRST® LEGO® League releases a new Challenge based on a real-world, scientific theme. Starting with Discover, children are introduced to the fundamentals of STEM while working together to solve fun challenges and building models using LEGO bricks.

As participants progress into Explore, children will take their background knowledge of STEM and put it into practice as they work in teams to design and build robots using the LEGO Education system.

Once they are ready to move into a competitive setting, they join Challenge and apply their STEM skills combined with critical thinking to work with a team, build a robot, and compete in an exciting, mission-based robotics game.

RoboCup Singapore Open

RoboCup Singapore Open is held by Singapore Polytechnic and Singapore Science Center. The competition comprises of sub-category challenges such as CoSpace Rescue, CoSpace Dance, CoSpace Home and CoSpace Grand Prix.

CoSpaceRobot is the official competition platform for both RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation and RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) CoSpace Challenge.

MakeX Singapore
